It’s Prime Time

Today we not only celebrate the spending of all of our money on fabulous deals on Amazon Prime. But today I realized I just might be beginning the prime of my life! And I’m ready to start living like I mean it.

Happy Prime day!

In the past year I think I have felt close to every emotion there is. I have experienced love and laughter, loneliness and loss. I have felt happy and silly, and sad and sorry. I felt like I couldn’t breathe… and then I had never breathed easier. My heart was confused… and then it was fuller than ever.

Life has taken me on quite the ride this year and along the way I have found that I have the love of my life by my side, the most caring and supportive parents, a brother whom I’ll always look up to, many other caring family members, best friends that love unconditionally, two wonderfully smart children that I will love and protect as my own and one sweet baby boy on the way.

My job isn’t perfect, our apartment is small, my pregnancy aches and pains are unpredictable but the people that surround me keep me going. They always encourage me to follow my dreams and do what makes me happy. I may be living a life I didn’t quite expect but I have learned so much and have loved finding my new path.

This is the beginning of the prime of my life. I am old enough to know who I am and who I am not and young enough to know I still have a chance to make all of my dreams come alive.

I wasn’t sure when or if I would become a mother and I feel truly blessed to find it was meant to be! As I embark on this crazy journey of motherhood and wife-hood, I only wish to keep learning and growing as a person, a mother, a wife, a friend, a sister, a daughter, a sound editor, a manager, a reader, a writer, and more. And hence! A blog post!

This blog has always been meant to be a part of my everyday. More than a hobby. Time to be ultimate…time to be prime!
